Educational Information, Not Professional Advice
The content on the Website, in our Guides, and in our Services is provided for educational and general information purposes. The Company is a business consulting company. We are not a law firm, an accounting firm, or a financial advisor, and nothing We provide is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Using the Website, a Guide, or a Service does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, or fiduciary relationship.
Laws, regulations, tax rules, and technology change often. You are responsible for confirming how any information applies to Your situation and for consulting a qualified attorney, accountant, or other professional before acting on it. Templates We provide, including policy templates and consent language, are starting points that should be reviewed by an attorney licensed in Your state before You rely on them.
Health Information
Please do not share protected health information about Your clients with Us through the Website, by email, or during Services. Our Services do not require it, and our Website forms are not designed to receive it. If You share such information anyway, You are responsible for doing so in compliance with the laws that apply to You.
Placing Orders
By placing an Order, You warrant that You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Your Information
When You place an Order, You may be asked to provide information such as Your name, email address, phone number, and payment details. You represent and warrant that (i) You have the legal right to use any payment method You provide, and (ii) the information You supply is true, correct, and complete. By submitting this information, You authorize Us to provide it to our payment processors to complete Your Order.
Order Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an Order at any time for reasons including errors in the description or price of a Service or Guide, errors in Your Order, or suspected fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction. If We cancel an Order You have paid for, We will refund Your payment.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for consulting sessions, Packages, and Guides are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: sessions require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule; Package fees are refundable within 7 days of purchase if no sessions have taken place; and because Guides are delivered instantly as digital downloads, Guide sales are final, though We will always make it right if a file does not work.
Availability, Errors, and Inaccuracies
We update our Services and Guides from time to time. Information on the Website may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, including prices and descriptions. We reserve the right to correct errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
Prices
The Company may revise its prices at any time before accepting an Order. The price You pay is the price shown when Your Order is accepted.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors and may be made by major credit and debit cards and other methods We make available. Payment cards are subject to validation and authorization by Your card issuer. We do not store Your full card details.
Packages and Recurring Billing
Some Services, such as the Grow package and Ongoing AI Support, are billed monthly in advance.
- Term. Packages with a set term (for example, 3 months) are billed monthly for that term. Ongoing AI Support renews monthly until You or We cancel it.
- Cancellation. You may cancel Ongoing AI Support at any time by contacting Us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period, and You will continue to receive support until then. Fees already paid are not refunded except as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Billing. You agree to provide accurate billing information. If a payment fails, We will send You an invoice to pay by a stated due date.
- Fee changes. We may change Package fees. Any change takes effect at the start of the next billing period after We give You reasonable advance notice, and You may cancel before it takes effect.
Guides License
When You purchase a Guide, We grant You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print, and use it for Yourself and for internal use within Your own practice or business. You may adapt the templates in the AI-Use Policy Kit for Your own practice. You may not resell, share publicly, redistribute, or republish any Guide or template, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
Promotions and Referrals
Promotions, discounts, and our Referral Program may be governed by rules separate from these Terms. If those rules conflict with these Terms, the promotion rules apply. Referral credits and discounts have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

If You are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and You believe that copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement on the Website, please email our copyright agent at consulting@leantowardsjoy.com with a detailed description of the alleged infringement.

- Identification of the URL or other specific location on the Website where the material You claim is infringing is located.
- Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that You have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in Your notice is accurate and that You are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
You may be held accountable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, for misrepresenting that any content is infringing Your copyright. When We receive a notice, We will take whatever action We consider appropriate, including removing the challenged content.
Your Feedback to Us
You assign all rights, title, and interest in any Feedback You provide to the Company. If for any reason that assignment is ineffective, You grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, disclose, sublicense, distribute, modify, and exploit that Feedback without restriction.
Links to Other Websites and Third-Party Services
The Website contains links to, and relies on, Third-Party Services such as scheduling, payment, newsletter, and video services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices, and We are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by Your use of them. We encourage You to read the terms and privacy policies of any Third-Party Service You use.
Termination
We may suspend or end Your access to the Website or our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, if You breach these Terms. If We end a Service You have paid for for any reason other than Your breach, We will refund any unused portion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the entire liability of the Company and its suppliers under any provision of these Terms, and Your exclusive remedy, is limited to the amount You actually paid to the Company for the Service or Guide giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if You have not purchased anything.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, business interruption, personal injury, or loss of privacy, arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Website, Services, or Guides, or any decision You make based on them, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to You. In those states, each party's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
The Website, Guides, and the information in them are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Company makes no warranty that the Website, Guides, or Services will meet Your requirements, achieve any particular result, be uninterrupted or error-free, or be accurate, complete, or current. In particular, We do not warrant that following any Guide or template will make You compliant with HIPAA, tax law, or any other law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on statutory consumer rights, so some or all of these exclusions may not apply to You. In that case, they apply to the greatest extent enforceable under applicable law.
Governing Law
The laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, excluding its conflict of law rules, govern these Terms and Your use of the Website, Services, and Guides.
Dispute Resolution
If You have a concern or dispute, You agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting the Company. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.
United States Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated by the United States government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, it will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to give at least 30 days' notice before the new Terms take effect, by posting a notice on the Website or by email. By continuing to use the Website or our Services after revisions take effect, You agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
